HOLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2015/6/27 – “This movie is about finding a deeper happiness that comes from your roots and it’s about a real inner happiness that exists regardless of fame or success,” says A Country Wedding star Jesse Metcalfe. “My character finds himself again when he’s back home.”
On a morning talk show, Catherine Mann (Laura Mennell) announces she’s engaged to country music star Bradley Suttons (Jesse Metcalfe). Bradley is very private, would rather have keep it a secret. Catherine, who loves attention, agrees to keep their actual wedding ceremony private. She starts planning their wedding in Italy while she’s still filming in Los Angeles.
Country girl Sarah Standor (Autumn Reeser) and Bradley were childhood friends. As kids they got “married” after his parents died so he would have some family. Sarah writes Bradley a letter and returns his mother’s wedding ring that he gave her. Sarah’s ranch is next door to the ranch where Bradley grew up. Bradley hasn’t been back to Milltown, Texas, in years and decides to go back to Texas to sell his childhood home.
Bradley sees Sarah and they become reacquainted. Bradley is a celebrity. Sarah and Bradley ditch the crowds by going fishing. Childhood friend Adam, now the pastor of the church joins them. Bradley decides he wants his wedding to Catherine to be in Sarah’s barn, that he wants a country wedding away from the crowds. It may be the right location, but is it the right bride?
